...My dog that I've had for 11 years is being put down today. I decided not to go with my parents to the vet, because I just want my last memory of her to be when I packed her into the car yesterday and sat with her in the backseat until mom was ready to leave... I said my goodbye then, even though I didn't know...

I'm really glad my mom and dad are both going; I didn''t want mom to go alone... I can't remember seeing her cry before...

I just really wish I could call Emily and tell her (she's still in Mexico); she's known Fluffy for at least four years... And I wish Crystal'd gotten a chance to meet her (she's still never been to my house).

And there's no real reason anyone else should care; I just needed to say it... Because I won't be talking on the phone anytime soon without crying, even if Emily /did/ have her cell with her.

Lilli's been great about it (she's still here); she's letting me deal with this (mostly) by myself, which is what I really needed.

Okay, so all that and now they're BRINGING HER HOME!!! Scratch the plan, she got a new diagnosis and new meds and is apparently doing fine!! Way to go; mom and I were crying last night and today, and then poof, problem gone! I know we'll still have to do it eventually, but if i get to keep my dog another few years, who's complaining!?!
